Major Project

After considering my initial ideas and creating a Millanote with intended research I am now ready to write my SMART Objective for my project. SMART means Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely.

For my Media & Communication project this term I will be creating a content article on Buddhism in modern China. My target market will be students generation Z & Millennials. I will create an article of up to 1000 words and used copyright free images. I will use a template such as Visme or Flipsnack and finally create a flipbook that will go onto my website as final portfolio by the beginning of December.

Creating a Website

Today I began creating a website using Wix. This is the site I have chosen to customize. Then I added my heading. The next step was to change my name so I selected my name and then on the pop-up dialog box I chose the font. 

                                       

Then I went to desing option and change the text font.

Next I changed the photo and upload the photo which I might change in the process. I made the font larger and added the name of the project.  

Then I went to mobile view to see how it looks like on a mobile.

Final Project Initial Ideas

 I will be studying Mandarin language. I would do some research.

Mandarin language is getting more and more popular and it is a global language. It is the hardest language to study but in a bigger picture it is a huge opportunity for me.

I am a person who is not afraid of any challenges and is openminded, wondering what future will bring. There is many interesting videos around if you know where to look for it. I found this video that if I spend daily 15 minutes it could help to boost and learn quicker the languages.

Creating the Advert

 I used Express Adobe to create a logo and I used Snipping tool to show step by step what I am doing. 

I add it text to my logo.

Next I changed the background to have it without when adding logo to my image. 

I have found my image on Express Adobe.

Solo Sequential Images

My sequential images:

 I used my Galaxy S23 Ultra to make quick photos of my dog called Summer.

I created a contact sheet using the contact sheet generator and then I created canvas of 5 photographs using Canva app.

Reflecting on this set of images I wanted to express the love and happiness that dog gives me through the eyes. The love is unconditional and so strong that only dog can give. My inspirational photographer Duane Michals says: “Trust that little voice in your head that says 'Wouldn't it be interesting if...'; And then do it.”

Duane Michals is an American photographer (b. 1932, McKeesport, PA) who uses innovative photos technics to see the emotions and philosophy.

 Welcome to Spiritual Photography And Art.

Welcome to my blog. I am a student at DMU International College in Year Zero Media. I have a passion for photography and Art. I am studying Media and Communication with Mandarin language. I am from Poland but I lived in UK from 2006. I came for one year but now it is 17 gone already. I have gain a lot of experience and I have learned a lot of different cultures. I am really glad and lucky to come and have the opportunity to study in DMU English. I am a happy mother of two amazing boys and being busy mum.

I am a spiritual person and I would like to express myself by showing the beauty of the spirit on the photographs.
